Why this tool exists

Hi, I'm Yuchuan Cao, an independent developer based in China. I build small, focused web tools, and AI Backyard Designer is the one I'm working on now. The idea is simple: before you hire a landscaper or buy a single plant, you should be able to see a few directions for your own yard. The plan is to let you upload a photo, pick a style, and get a fast, low-cost visual draft you can react to, share with your household, or bring to a professional as a starting point. It will not replace an expert who visits your site, and I won't pretend it does. The designer is still being built, so this preview is where I'm learning what people actually need. If you have a question or an idea, email me. I read every message myself and reply within 1–2 business days.
